Spicy House Balmoral

Have been here before so decided to cone back
Stopped for takeaways. It was busy but then again they are always busy no no big deal.
Ordered $30 takeaway food. After waiting 10 minutes asked how long and was told not long. 5 minutes later was told the same. More takeaway customers came and ordered.
At the 20 minute mark and after asking 4 different staff was told by the manager to wait 3 more minutes. Still no food. Asked again and was told again it was only 3 more minutes away. Had enough and asked for money back.
Two more things- noticed a cockroach on the way playing hide n seek behind the paintings.
As we left noticed the gentleman who ordered takeaways at the 15 minute mark.. He was parked next to us. He just came back to his car with 2 large bags of food. Seriously!!! And we kept asking !

Always full as Food are excellent . Very convenient for late night .

Recently discovered this place and I can't get enough of it - they're always busy so if you don't want to wait, it's always best to call ahead and do a takeaway order. Prices are really reasonable and you'll always have leftovers. I absolutely recommend any of the lamb dishes and the dumplings.

Spicy House is great for those late night cravings when nothing else but Maccas is open. Food is cheap and the service is always fast - you must try the dumplings, lamb with spring onion and the hot & spicy chicken.

This was a cheap place to eat and it was delicious. The food tasted so good and I find that the Sichuan cuisine they served was full of flavours. The staff was also well trained and kind.
