Shaolin Kung Fu Noodle

I grew up eating and living this type of noodle back home so was thrilled to see that it has been brought over to NZ when these guys first opened, it's not as good as back home but it is getting pretty damn close.

Classic dish, the lamb thick noodles, the broth is so fragrant, it's been on the boil for hours and you can really see it coming through in the colour. The noodles are top notch, hand pulled, thick, chewy, there is nothing I do not love about these noodles here, you can put them in anything and they will be delicious.

Most of the variations here use the same type of noodles so you can expect a level of consistency, these guys also do all sorts of small side dishes which I strongly recommend trying out, they are all the same things we have back home in China, kind of like peasant food, but so delicious.

Only mark down for this place is that their prices were very reasonable, but have gotten more expensive over the years, I think for what it is, it could be cheaper.

A Halal restaurant. The food here is a bit on the pricy side but worth it. This is my fav place for winters the king fu noodles with the chilli oil just makes you warm. A popular place and always a buzz. The place is bit small and the service is not the best cause it’s always busy. But the food is good.

The flavours of the broth are always unique but delicious. Interesting to see a menu without pork. Their cleaver sliced beef is so nice and tender. Another go to on the menu is their pancake and also the golden fried chicken wings.Will be back try something else.Recommend.

Good Chinese restaurant. The food is absolute beautiful full of flavour and delicious, I recommend this place very cheap to eat, the soups are very nice and very delicious noodles. High recommend.

food here is delicious. We got Sensational Spicy Chicken, xinjiang lamb fried noodles and lamb and chive dumplings. All their food is traditionally made. his place reminds me of an Asia side street dinning place. definitely worth a try here
