A great selection of dished to either share or fiercely protect as your own, my protected dish was the Sensational Duck.
Added to brilliant food Sen have a more than adequate wine list with good IPA choices

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere and service was great. Ange especially was attentive, funny and gave great recommendations. Definitely recommend this place and will be back for sure! The best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Auckland in a long time.

Sen vietnamese food is so homely comfortable but amazingly presented food I love starting off with beef pho so good pork rib was not bad and fried squid was nice

We recently celebrated a birthday at Sen Vietnam Kitchen & Bar in Mt Eden, house in the heritage CAC building which previously housed one of my favorite restaurants. Staff was lovely and warm and the interior remained true its previous CAC tapas restaurant days however now with accents of oriental paraphernalia dressing the walls.

The menu was impressive from the beverages to the food. Starting with cocktails, Mango Tangos with sparkling water. These were refreshing and tropical, suitable for a humid evening.

For starters, we ordered Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Chicken Lemongrass Bao and Lemongrass Pork Skewers and Beef Mango Salad. Each dish was delicious with the standout being the Bao.

To follow, we enjoyed the Chicken Red Curry, Bun Cha and Sweet Spicy Passionfruit Prawns with jasmine rice. I cherished every exquisite mouthful from each of the dishes. The curry was exquisite due to its flavour, smooth texture and fragrance. The mains were heavenly.

More cocktails were ordered including La Chanh Mule and Tra Chanh Mojito, and these were simply stunning!

Our dining experience at Sen was truly an elevated and highly memorable and one of my best Vietnamese cuisine dinners. Highly recommended!
