Scratch Bakers

I personally think this is the best coffee in the viaduct area. There is a really great scrambled egg and tomato in a ciabatta roll that I love to purchase. I've had one "bad" experience where my poached eggs were served hard (couldn't tell if that was intentional) but I was a bit pushed for time so didn't bother asking for it to be remade.

It has always been a good start of a day when you had good breakfast. Visited Scratch many times for brunch or quick take away coffee. Their food and coffee are really nice. Always visit here whenever in town.

The donuts are to die for! Tricky for parking but worth the stop. Try the savoury donut- it pleasantly surprised me.
Coffee is delicious. If you want a table make sure you book.

Good service and environment. We had the hotcakes with vanilla, salted caramel butter and brioche crumbs. These were sooo good. The salted caramel butter was so bad for me, yet so good. Coffee was prefect and with nice coffee art. Worth to try.

I had an amazing coffee catch up with a friend recently and we tried out Scratch. The cafe had a very stylish interior, spacious flow with accents of industrial chic elements.

We enjoyed the Three Bean espresso accompanied by a choc hazelnut meringue and cranberry scone, both sweet treats were gorgeous. The display counter cabinets were laden with mouth watering freshly baked savouries, rolls, slices and cakes. It was a mission to decide on what to order. Highly recommended!
