Rialto Cinemas

A nice quiet gem of a place right in Broadway. Great waiting and lunge area prior to going through. The facilities are very clean and the service is very relaxed. The theatres themselves are very small compared to the widescreen ones, but don't deter you at all. Make sure you go on super Tuesday for special discounted rates.

My favourite cinema in Auckland! Nice atmosphere, gets me excited to see the movie. Lots of nice seating/couches, great selection of Kapiti scoop ice cream, as well as a bar! Also, the bathrooms have always been very clean and nicely kept every time I have been. Cinemas are clean and larger than you expect.

Really good cinema, could even be better than The Events because I find the seats more comfortable. It has also a unique atmosphere when you are in the cinema. It is also a bit cheaper than competitors.

The last time I went the ticket prices were fine but they had no popcorn at all and the selection of food was poor. The staff were friendly though

A selection of art films and foreign films with an atmosphere that's different to the other chains. However, the cinema is definitely showing its age and is due for a bit of a spruce-up.
