Rialto Cinemas

My favourite cinema in Auckland! Nice atmosphere, gets me excited to see the movie. Lots of nice seating/couches, great selection of Kapiti scoop ice cream, as well as a bar! Also, the bathrooms have always been very clean and nicely kept every time I have been. Cinemas are clean and larger than you expect.

One of if not the best places to go watch a quality film. Screening movies that are not found in mainstream cinemas is a refreshing change. Very luxurious environment, intimate and warm.

Ticket prices are slightly cheaper here and they still play great movies, a good range to choose from

Rialto are always playing great independent movies and have an awesome selection of food, beer and wine. Saw Moonlight recently and loved it.

Really good cinema, could even be better than The Events because I find the seats more comfortable. It has also a unique atmosphere when you are in the cinema. It is also a bit cheaper than competitors.
