Real Groovy is the best place to find what you were and weren't looking for. Independently owned since 1981, it's one of the first and longest lasting true record stores in New Zealand and an Auckland icon. In Store you'll find not only vinyl records, but also a fantastic range of unique books, CDs, DVDs, posters, collectibles, novelties, t-shirts, music related memorabilia and more.

Great range, great customer service. Real Groovy is probably my favourite shop in Auckland.

This is one of the coolest shops in Auckland I've been to. There are all sorts of things in here other than records: books, dvds, posters, figurines and more! It has a great atmosphere and spacious layout. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

Great shop, recently relocated from their building of many years to a new building across the road.
I love their second hand collections of DVD's and CD's and misc collectables - you find some interesting items here you struggle to find elsewhere.
But the best part is downstairs...
If you are a vinyl lover. A huge selection of LP's to keep lovers of that medium happy, forever!

Real Groovy is amazing! The range of vinyl records available is incredible, as well as the massive CD and DVD range. The staff are really helpful and know their stuff! The collection of clothing, books/graphic novels and memorabilia accessible is really quite amazing. My favourite store!
