Love this place. Great menu, always served hot and great staff too. Spicy lamb pretzel really hits the spot on those cold wintery days. Got to be one of the best street food shops in Auckland serving halal food. Highly recommended.

Tried their popular Chocolate and Walnut Pretzel. It’s one of those moments when you bite into it, and you go ‘THIS IS IT! THIS IS IT!’ I assume no matter what filling you are after, Popa’s Pretzels have a crisp, chewy texture - what a winner!!!

Although there was a long queue, their service was pretty quick. Very friendly service. Oh yes, convenient location and a clean premise.

Waited for less than 5mins which I thought was super fast considering they make it to order and god it yum good!
Crispy and fluffy and warm on the inside!
Great on the go lunch if you get the cheese filled one I think!

I used to go to Popa's almost everyday when I worked accross the road and was never disappointed! Their cheese filled pretzel is generous on cheese and theis Manakish Zaatar is divine!
The staff is always friendly and smiling, cheap food great taste!
I went back yesterday after a long time away and couldn't be happier to see how nice the place is looking, the food is still amazing and service sweet, as usual.
We did try their pretzel wraps and man, what a meal!
The grilled haloumi is cheesy and comforting and the Frankfurt one was so filled and tasteful!
I wish I could go more often, definitely worthy the trip to the city :)

They have interesting filled pretzels. They also have something called a manakish, which is almost like a calzone (folded pizza). They didn't have the lamb one when I was there so tried the traditional one and it was interesting. Crispy and cheesy. It had olives but it didn't make the whole thing to salty.
