Paradice Ice Skating

Happy to see that there are a couple ice rinks in Auckland.
I come here to watch the West Auckland Admirals (Ice Hockey team in the NZIHL).
Not a big arena so any seat is a good seat to catch the action on the ice.
Arena comes with an area to get snacks and drinks.
Parking available.
Bring a jacket or very warm sweater as the arena is quite cold with no heaters directed toward the stands. (Probably the norm for New Zealand...I'm Canadian so I'm used to arenas with heaters).
I haven't gone ice skating here as of yet so I can't review the ice conditions however I come often for ice hockey games and quite enjoy atmosphere (in my jacket).

Good value for money and good entertainment. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to give skating a go.

Kids really enjoy it here after visiting regularly. We initially started coming approx 3 months ago. Regular visits have improved my childrens confidence and balance on the ice. The public session is a good idea, and doesnt get too crowded. Cool modern music plays in the background, and the cafe onsite sell reasonably priced hot food.

Good ice skating rink. Tidy and well kept. Prices are also reasonable.

A fun place to go and has a large rink so lots of people can skate on it however I found that after a while it becomes really repetitive and boring. I like how they play music really loudly but the food served here is pretty terrible and the skates really hurt my feet.
