Paradice Ice Skating

Loads of parking with a cafe on site. Its nice that the cafe is separated from the cold area, so you can eat in the warmth. You can pay for standard skate hire, or can pay a little extra to get better quality skates. I quite like that there are frames that children can use to manouvre around the ice rink, and that there is a stand for spectators to watch and take photos. All in all, its not expensive and you can stay for hours.

I used to go here as a young girl many years ago - now I take my children whenever we are in Auckland and they really enjoy the experience. Glad to see it hasn't changed too much - the staff are friendly and prices still affordable

I feel like they need to make their public sessions longer, or have a morning one, and an afternoon one. Great fun here though, theres a little cafe on site as well if you want to just let the kids skate while you enjoy a coffee and watch

Great facility to tire your kids out for a few hours. I quite enjoyed ice skating myself too. It does get hot when you are skating, but if you're a spectator, its best to snuggle up with the cosy gears! Flashing lights and competitions keep it interesting, and its not that expensive either (even better when there are online deals for it!)

Loved this skating rink the ice was really smooth and the staff were lovely giving tips and showing us what to do. There is a warm cafe there which has nice coffee and hot chips. They have a cute kids party room too and regularly have fun party on ice nights
