Olaf's Artisan Bakery Cafe

Olaf's is a beautiful cafe but it's very expensive. Most of their menu items are based around bread so if you are looking for variety maybe choose somewhere else. Otherwise, all good!

Great atmosphere, nice location. We ordered fresh orange and ginger juice which was so good. Scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection, Gourmet breakfast came with mushrooms, hash brown, tomatoes, bacon and sausage, along with eggs and sourdough bread which was so fresh, and everything tasted good! Highly recommended.

I came here with my German exchange student and the bread was simply wonderful! So warm, delicate and fresh and she said it reminded her just of home. As states in the name, it is an ARTISAN bakery so don't expect lower tier bread - only the best quality. Yum.

I adore their macadamia toffee tarts as well as the cranberry pastry swirls and the salad bar is exquisite! Must visit!

Food comes out fast. The schnitzel lacked seasoning but the veal meat was cooked nicely and tender. The potato salad at the bottom was nicely dressed but perhaps too much potato for my personal preference; needed something else to lift the entire dish up. I tried some of the chicken liver which was flavoursome and nicely spiced, especially when paired with the toasted vinscgauer bread! Worth to try.I will definitely visit this place again.
