      Great central Auckland attraction, giving a lot of detail of Auckland's maritime history, and recognising its importance in trade, transportation, and tourism. Has daily sailings from boats moored by the museum, which are well priced and lots of fun. Next to the Viaduct bar area, so you can plan a great day out with lunch or dinner. Family friendly - something for all ages. Free for Auckland residents (with proof of address).

      Great location, modern building, the optional boat ride on Saturday's is awesome. Staff are lovely and there are some very interesting exhibits.

      Spent the afternoon with the family, loads of exhibitions and stuff to learn for kids. We enjoyed the sailing and feel the breeze out on the water.
