Nol Bu Ne Restaurant

Not the best Korean restaurant in Auckland but its not the worst either. Like others have said the service wasn't very hospitable. However we enjoyed the duck we ate.

Finally visited the restaurant after wanting to for a long time and wasn't disappointed. It took me a moment to find it, as the entrance is an elevator next to a backpackers, but if I'd seen the signage on the stairs I wouldn't have had an issue.

We ordered two mains and a drink and the price was pretty good. The place is casual so the waiting time for food wasn't long either. The wait staff were helpful and attentive - she refilled the potato side dish we had finished without us even having to ask.

I would recommend it - also the owner is the guy from the AA Smartfuel advertising which made me double-take when I first saw him.

Absolute fail. I don't like this place. I end up here when catching up with friends. The service is stingy. That's why. The entrance, lift, and stairs are incredibly run down, the owners literally hurry you out if you sit there for too long consuming table space after your meal. And they are not nice about it. The prices are marginally more expensive and less in size compared to the Korean place a couple of doors down. The only reason why this place has been surviving is because it is easy to find. It is up in the oriental-style building.

Love the Korean food here! So delicious and really affordable. However have had a few occasions where they have got our order wrong an also can not stand the loud bell noise that rings every single time someone walks into the store. It is very distracting and annoying.

Nol Bu Ne is affordable Korean. Finding it is a mission as its upstairs and its a bit dated but its really reasonable so worth the effort and price.
