Neighbourhood Macs Brewbar

Awesome place for a drink in the sun and an even better view of eden park! Great atmosphere.

We went here for a couple of hours before the rugby at Eden Park and it was, as expected, quite busy. They don't have many tables but there is plenty of floor space around. All the tables but one were either sat at or reserved so we were lucky to get somewhere to sit.
The food menu is quite small and is typical bar food. Quite nice though but nothing special. The pizzas looked good being woodfired but I didn't get one, although wish I had.
There is a room for kids which is good.

Macs bars are always stylishly designed and the atmosphere is great. Great selection of drinks and food. Parking out the back too

Great relaxed atmosphere, ecletic decor, sprawling outdoor area and of course tasty Macs beer to had :) Food is good too and it's got DJs on the weekends and is a good place to meet friends. Gets busy when Eden Park is too. Well worth a visit, a Kingsland treasure.
