Nice shop lay out and plenty of car parks, although shop is a little bit small, but friendly staff and good Japanese food would impress every first visitor, highly recommended!

The is the place we always to go if we want Japanese food in the North Shore. The food is very good quality and tastes very good. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Th wonky downside is that the place is extremely small, so it fills up very fast during the peak hours and weekends.

The food is mainstream Japanese, with a choice of sake and Japanese beer; though on a busy night it might not all come to your table when you expect it to. Who cares? Be prepared for a bit of chaos in this cosy and crowded restaurant and you'll have a really good night.

Haven't been here for a long time and decided to come for lunch with my partner one day when we were over the Shore. Taste of food still remain the same quality. I like the varieties you can get in bento box. My partner got Chicken teriyaki and I ordered Unagi bento. We had the octopus balls/ takoyaki takeaway and it was lovely too.

Have been visiting this busy restaurant for years witnessing the change of ownership. Love their lunch boxes which are reasonably priced (from $13.00). My favourite one is the fish benton - a Japanese serving tray with fruit, salad, beans, sushi (2), panfried fish fillet on rice and deep fried fish. We never expect outstanding service in this busy place but it has been reasonable. Some friends queried about the freshness of their raw fish, however they were fresh and delicious when ordering a sashimi platter in our last visit. Can’t wait to visit again!
