Nice little Japanese restaurant in the heart of Wairau Valley.
We came here on a Monday afternoon and the place was half packed. Service was quick and the food did not disappoint either.

The food is mainstream Japanese, with a choice of sake and Japanese beer; though on a busy night it might not all come to your table when you expect it to. Who cares? Be prepared for a bit of chaos in this cosy and crowded restaurant and you'll have a really good night.

I had a tofu dish and some Udon noodles both were good. My brother had the pork katsu with noodles he was happy also.

We had their bento for lunch. Good price but food were standard. Staff were not very attentive. It’s taking too long for a standard bento to be served.
