Mt Albert BBQ Noodle House

My friends and I decided to come here to just relax and intended on simply having a snack. We got a few drinks, I personally got the peach green tea yoghurt with pearls (I love pearls but it may not be for everyone) and I found it was a good combo of sugar and tea.
We ordered the garlic soy cucumbers which is a classic Asian dish which we enjoyed.
The crunchy chicken was average, a lot of batter and not a lot of meat.
We had skewers of lamb, chicken, chicken heart, chicken wing and squid. All of which were average apart from the chicken wings which had hints of honey, it was rather delicious. The squid was quite bland and plain rubbery... But still edible. The chicken was drizzled with a Japanese mayonnaise which was a nice touch but the chicken wasn't dry at all, it was actually quite moist and tender. The kumara fries we ordered were average, fresh out the fryer and tasted quite natural.
We got the BBQ pork thick noodles to share which was very delicious, I genuinely enjoyed it's flavor and texture. Nothing overpowering but a good dish. We were quite satisfied with our meal and were very full at the end.
The prices are average and hours are incredibly flexible.
We had a waiter at the beginning who was patient, polite and well mannered.
Our waitress later on who served us and took more orders was impatient, rude, and acted like she had better things than to be there.

This place has the most reasonable priced foods and a great proportion of food. Taste is pretty average for chinese food, not bad not amazing, but definitely worth what you pay for. Free soup when you dine in!

The place is really basic, really basic décor with the tables and chairs and tiled floor, photos and signs for dishes all over the walls. That being said, it is really good value for money. I like coming here because the dishes are huge, there is free soup, and the dishes taste like how they are supposed to be.

Good meals try the salted sea squid rings very popular place to dine at.every time i go there the food always taste delicious..recommended place to dine in.Also the price is good for what you get.

Fried noodles, my favorite dish, great sized meals at fantastic prices.
