      Great little place for families to visit heaps to do with emphasis on science and hands on activities which is awesome and also great to note that they have an onsite cafe which sells things like hot chips/ pies/ pastries ect. Also for around $5 we took 2 adults 3 children on the tram which is located right outside and takes you to the aviation museum aswel.

      We had a great time at motat. Lots of things to see and do. Really great they offer free entry for special needs people and their caregivers. We were disapointed with the very long wait at cafe when it wasn't very busy. But overall we really enjoyed.

      MOTAT is another Auckland attraction which is a must see for those of us entertaining children for a day. There are plenty of museum attractions in the form of old trains, cars etc, along with science stuff for kids to explore. Not far from the Zoo, so it's quite possible to do a combination of Zoo, lunch, Motat, Western Springs park etc to fill up a day. Recommended

      My husband loves this place, him, his best friend and two kids just have a ball looking at all the old trains and trucks. They have a great coffee shop too that is ladies enjoy while the boys play.
