Mairangi Japanese Cuisine

Had a set menu including miso soup, salad, sushi, tempura, teriyaki and dessert. Top notch, filling and good value!

We visited here as our friends lives nearby, we then came as a group for dinner, we decided to share plates for dinner: Assorted tempura, scallops, soft shell crab, Agedashi tofu, and the Campbell's Bay dinner boxes. Really nice traditional style Japanese food that was served, flavoursome and immaculate presentation. Exceptional service offered.

Good service, cosy interior and great ambience. food was very well presented. it was very tasty and fresh, portions were plentiful and everything was super tasty. Excellent prices and they accept the entertainment card as well. I will recommend this. will go back for more.

First impressions is that it felt very well looked after and maintained and lots of seating and space a few table were cosy, a few were by the window by the quite alleyway. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, a nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. I have been here about 4 times now and the food and service is great everytime. Normally arrive when they open in the evenings which isn't too busy, but starts to get busier as the evening goes on. Highly recommend the Taranaki Sushi Roll!
