Mairangi Japanese Cuisine

We ordered quite a lot of food. Karaage Chicken was well cooked but juicy, Age Nase (deep fried eggplant with mashed pumpkin) was amazing combination, Beef tataki salad was amazing and very generous with salads, Medium sized sashimi plater was fresh, beautiful plated, Grilled Snapper was nicely done and again generous portion (well cooked veges as well, very tasty), Finally, icecream and fried banana was perfect ending for the night. We didn't order any sushi and tempura, but will definitely try next time! Thank you for a wonderful night, we can definitely feel the love from their chef.

Had a set menu including miso soup, salad, sushi, tempura, teriyaki and dessert. Top notch, filling and good value!

First impressions is that it felt very well looked after and maintained and lots of seating and space a few table were cosy, a few were by the window by the quite alleyway. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We went last week for a birthday dinner. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, BYO wine and the food was YUMMY. We were last to leave at 915pm on a Saturday which I thought was a bit strange
