Ivillage at Victoria Indian Restaurant

We decided to eat here after reading other reviews. They were right! This place is delicious. My wife loves Indian cuisine and has eaten it all over the world (except India). I am fairly new to Indian cuisine, but everything we had was delicious and the tastes had quite a bit of depth to them.

Great Indian restaurant in the heart of Auckland. Traditional North Indian dishes served fresh and hot. The Naan bread was delicious. Such lovely and genuine staff with a warm welcome making it a great atmosphere- suggestions on what to order and to what heat it should be enjoyed.

We had one of our favorite meals. It probably has to rate as the best Indian restaurant we have ever frequented. Most Indian restaurants are very good, but they often all seem the same after a while. Good but not gourmet great. definitely breaks the mold. It is Indian food with a gourmet twist. This is most likely going to be a step-up from the Indian restaurants you are used to. We were able to find multiple dishes that conform with our non-animal product eating ways. All of the dishes had rich flavor with great depth.

Beautiful setting and amazing service. The food is an experience! Every detail to perfection. This place is a must when visiting Auckland. Strongly recommend!

Really fancy Indian restra. Decor is lovely - they have tried to give touch of Indian villages. Nice food - one must try their ibullets - they are delicious. Drawback - long waiting times.
