      Set under a canopy of palms in a dramatic seven-storey atrium, Hectors Restaurant is an Auckland restaurant built to impress. Choose from the extensive menu, then sit back and let our Executive Chef and their team prepare a memorable meal. Hectors Restaurant caters for all manner of dietary requirements, paying particular attention to the needs of vegetarians and vegans. We have recently introduced an initiative to promote healthy dining for our customers and sustainable practices for the planet. The majority of produce is sourced within a 50 kilometre radius, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting local farmers and suppliers.

      We tried the full buffet breakfast. Hot food is a let down except the hashbrowns and grilled tomatoes. Scrambled eggs were runny and the bacon was sitting in its oily liquid. The continental breakfast and Paleo/raw food is really good (they have a good range). Good range of juices, coffee was ok.

      We came here as our party consisted of two vegetarians, this restaurant is surprisingly great. We decided to all have vegetarian meals this dinner. We had the garlic pizza bread to start, all of us shard the mains of the fresh udon noodles, chive and corn gnocchi, and the garlic and herb funghi on chickpea cauliflowe creme. Absolutely delicious! We had the coffee sticky date pudding each to finish off. An excellent service delivered by the staff, pleasant atmosphere.

      We've been coming here for years and it's long been our go-to for special occasions. The food is divine and the menu has something for everyone. Although the atmosphere can sometimes be a little lacking the great food, beautiful setting and attentive staff more than make up for it.

      Great to have a fine dining vegan restaurant available. Really enjoyed our meal. But I was hung up on by staff when asking about parking. Had to park nearby as I wasn't sure how to enter the hotel so paid $15 when I could have got it for free.

      Fantastic restaurant, great variety for vegetarians and the food was delicious. Servers were very attentive and friendly. The night we were there the restaurant was not full so it lacked a little atmosphere but we had no complaints. If you are a vegan or vegetarian it has a lot to offer!
