Good for the price you get. The duck was cooked well. Duck can get tricky when cooked poorly, as it can get a chewy texture, but this was fine, nice and meat and tender. Checkout on instagram: thefood.finder

LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my absolute new go to, the food is delicious - I’ve tried majority of the hawker rolls now and they are all so yummy. It’s a bit pricer than you’d think but I think it’s totally worth it! I take new people here all the time and they love it!

I love a good Malaysian and while Hawker & Roll didn't disappoint, I don't think it was worth the price. The roti rolls were delicious, the dumplings were okay but definitely not worth the price. We also ordered the plum juice with salt and the turmeric with honey/lemon/chia - wouldn't recommend either!

There's excitement and anticipation as you enter a very bustling new restaurant and it's wonderful to see patrons wanting to try out Hawker & Roll.
Upon first glance of the menu, there are several items that appeal to me in resonance of yum char style steamed dumplings and I'm keen to try the famous Hawker rolls as I'm an avid fan of Roti canai.
Staff are friendly and warm and the ambiance is one of communal seating, chatter and street market dining anticipation.
I enjoyed my refreshing beverage choice of a pandam lime soda followed by a sticky pulled pork Hawker Roll. This was delicious and an explosion of beautiful clean fresh south East Asian herbs and spices, sweet and saltiness, unctuous flavours and textures in every mouthful. I could have happily eaten another one of these without hesitation.
To follow, I tried the spicy Malaysian rice noodle salad with Szechuan spiced prawns. Whilst the serving size was generous, besides the prawns, this dish was underwhelming and I wouldn't order it again.
Overall, I was highly impressed with the service and despite the expensiveness of the menu, whilst what I ordered was hit and miss, I'd love to try more dishes!
