Great local cafe. My local for coffee and gelato! Great spot tucked away from the busy Kingsland strip. The always friendly staff have great service and I have never eaten a bad meal there.

A good place to have a coffee or brunch with friends and family. Went there on the weekend and it was really busy, a little bit hard to find a car park nearby. Ordered Benediction and fungi medley and they were really good.

Had a mixed experience. The coffee and eggs Benedict were excellent (except the bacon which was soft and tasteless). Nice ambience and big airy restaurant. The waitress who served us was pretty rude however; when one of us mistakenly forgot to tell them she had coeliac and couldnt have the bread that came with her meal. The waitress asked multiple times if she was 'genuinely coeliac', and then charged extra to switch the bread to gluten free without telling us (which was later rectified by person who took our payment at the end).

Crave cafe has really delicious food with the reasonable price and the coffee is nice! There are lot of tables with a big space, and also has the comfortable sofas! Crave's staffs are so friendly and always welcome the customers.

Having recently read an article online about the high number of patrons who had dined and left without paying, I was interested to lunch at Crave given their background story of being a collective of locals.
With an easy to find corner street location in Morningside by the train station, I was immediately impressed by the stylish cafe interior with tall ceiling spaces. The ambiance was super bustling with locals and I fully appreciated the eclectic styling of rustic kitsch furniture amidst industrial chic hanging garden surroundings.
I ordered the roast chicken breast with Cajun grilled vegetables in coconut cream and this dish was delicious and flavoursome. I also tried a Green raw smoothie which was vibrant, light and refreshing with spinach, avocado, pineapple, apple and cucumber. I’d like to visit again to try other dishes and their coffee next time. Highly recommended!
