Countdown Supermarkets

Only two checkouts open every time I've been, very frustrating as there arent any self checkouts so you cant pop in and out.l when in a hurry. Tired store and outside is always messy but plentynof parking and nice staff

always seems busy and as others state not enough tills open when it is busy

Handy location with other stores in the vicinity and good parking right outside. Not a very big store so they dont have as good a range as other countdowns and pricing is not too competitive either. Always a wait at the checkout

Came her a few times while staying in auckland for GNR. Store absolutely stunk, can't put my finger on what it was exactly but something smelt off. Pricing was not great and they had TWO checkouts open so we had to wait in a long line! I'm sure you could hire an extra staff member to open atleast one more checkout as two open is pathetic. Also their drinks fridges are dumb, all small bottles of drink, no larger bottles like other countdowns and stuff all cold sugar free drinks. Had to buy a bag of ice and a warm bottle of juice for my mixers since they didnt have any reasonably priced drinks in drinks fridge.

Grocery is ok but it's not as convenient as other Countdowns in North Shore.
