Countdown Supermarkets

very convenient shopping. we always do our weekly shopping in countdown. products are always fresh and deals are good. however late at night you cannot find fresh bakery products there.

Fruit and vegetables have certainly improved. They are fresh and appearance in store is good. But, sadly the fruit we had delivered was not up to scratch. Nectarines were dry, broccoli was limp, and bananas swashed and brown.
Groceries are now delivered in paper bags, which is great. But all fruit and vegetables still delivered in plastic.

Nice and tidy countdown. Countdown have great specials on beer. This countdown is friendly and has everything you need.

My experience at this countdown wasn’t good. Some staff members are friendly who work in stock filling department but some of the duty managers don’t care. They were just so busy in their own gossip.

I was so highly impressed with Countdown Mt Wellington recently when I was scouting around looking for the Lewis Road Creamery ice cream range and limited edition milks. To my pleasant surprise, this store had all the range and some of the flavours were on sale too!
