Located in the heart of Ponsonby, Brewport is the first ever micro brewery and beer garden the neighbourhood has seen. This isn’t your average local, we bring you beer, on tap, at it’s finest.. There’s more to us than just the perfect APA. Cocktails, wine, champagne and home made soda’s will quench alternative thirsts. We also offer Flying DogsPaired perfectly with a legion of beers on offer, flying dogs has the ultimate quick bites to fuel your stay with us. Includes seasonal items, vegan, gluten free and damn tasty options. A Pilot, a Flight Attendant and a Passenger walk into a bar... Sounds like the opening line of a joke right? Well, it’s actually the start of Brewport’s story. We’ll take you back to the early days of 2020, it all started when the trio walked into a bar, little did they know within a few months they would be opening the first ever brewery in Ponsonby, Brewport. Greg, an Airline Captain, has always enjoyed experimenting with home brewing, forever searching for the perfect IPA. Kim, a Flight Attendant, a fter 23 years of flying and facing redundancy, wanted a way to keep her feet on the ground, whilst still fuelling her passion for customer service. And Andy, a Frequent Flyer, brewmaster and entrepreneur. After taking Greg to brew with some mates, the idea sparked between them over a couple of pints. Fast forward a few weeks, add in a business plan, and just like that, the Brewport journey begins. Check into Brewport, you’ll be welcomed as a mate, and with a cold one in hand, you can kickback, relax and enjoy the ride. Cheers!
