Bao Baby Bao

Big fan of Baos and this place has just taken them to another level. The fired chicken and the beef steak bao's are my favorite. They do have a crab bao too which is also pretty good.
Last Friday, they were doing $5 bao day which was great.

For pre-theatre show dinner, we checked out one of the new eateries at Elliott Stables, Bao Baby Bao, which is situated where El Faro was. I loved the kitschy comic inspired interior, which seems to be a recurring trend with fusion Asian eateries nowadays and their menu looked exceptional.

I ordered the angry bird bao, spicy mango salad and chicken ginger dumplings and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The boa was amazing in taste with sriracha mayo and pickled cucumber, in texture with the crispy chicken thigh and flavour profile of creamy meets sweet and spicy and the chilli mango salad was simply divine! I look forward to trying more of their menu and prices were great! Highly recommended!
