A very good place to go hunting for secondhand bargains or fruit and vegetables. Heaps of fruit and vegetable stalls, a range of prices and generally friendly and efficient stallholders, quite likely the growers. There are quite a few stalls selling secondhand items and these stallholders might be open to haggling.

Busy outdoor market - lots of traffic and can get tricky to find a park. Interesting to browse and to at least pick up fresh fruit and vegetables. There's quite a range of produce including vegetables that aren't always at the supermarket (like lots of different greens for stir fry).

I used to go as a kid all the time and now i equally enjoy taking my own lot. Heaps to look at, something for everyone. Definitely worth the trip. But if its the fruit and veg your after go early.
