Ausmove

Beware using Ausmove - booked removal from Auckland to Perth and told it would take approximately 6 weeks. Packed and picked up the house on 22 October 2015 delivered 14 January 2016 so that's 11 weeks!! They use a different removal company once the goods arrive in Perth and when they delivered the items 2 items (the largest shipped; 3 seater couch and concrete outdoor table) were missing and they informed me that they weren't even on the container. Both Ausmove and 2nd removal company hadn't advised me of this even though they have to tick off each item at every step of the process. I contacted Ausmove and they said they would get back to me. After a week and another email to them they "checked their storage room" and found the missing items and said they will be on the next ship out. No real apology, no accountability at all so I asked a manager to contact me and explain how this can even happen as clearly their processes have failed. The manager emailed and all she could say was that they were busy and refunded 10% of the cost back to me. My missing goods finally arrived 15 April 2016 that's 6 months later!!!!
This wasn't the only issue, they had 3 packers come to the house and 2 of them were great at packing but 1 was really bad and you could clearly tell who packed what. They snapped apart a very expensive lamp to pack it so I had to put in an insurance claim as it was completely unrepairable. Luckily I had taken out the full cover insurance.
I am moving countries again and I have chosen another shipping company and when I explained what had happened previously they said that Ausmove have a bad reputation for bad service. I should've done more research and not just gone by the 'kind reviews' on their own website.

Recently used the services for a move to victoria and i am very happy with the work the lovely boys did. And sarah was very friendly and patient she went over everything and answered all the questions. Will recommend to friends and family. Best wishes.

I simply cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from AusMove in helping us move our household contents from New Zealand to Australia. This is the first time for us doing this and AusMove have made the process so reassuring and seamless for us. From Sarah at the office to the team of 4 guys that helped move all our gear, they were incredibly professional and excellent. Thank you AusMove for your outstanding service to us as a family.

I wanted to quickly say how fantastic the team was yesterday. As they will attest I have moved my stuff a lot of times from many countries, and they were the most helpful crew I have seen. I couldn't believe it was done in a day. Shy, Daniel, Jamison and Matthew were nice, engaging and fast workers. They didn't move anywhere without taking something or moving something. They had lots of instructions and they remembered them and later when I looked it had been done. They were so kind and considerate of my sick mum and worked around her well. I highly rate them. Sarah in the office has also been really amazing with supplying information and following up without being intrusive.

Ausmove was great in moving my daughters items, much cheaper and excellent crew member. They boys who packed were nice and helping and Sarah answered all my questions and offered discount on insurance because we recommended our familys.
