Auckland Zoo

A great day out for any age group as there are so many animals to be viewed. The grounds are well maintained & the facilities are great as there's quite a few cafes & icecream shops to choose from & there's even water fountains where you can refill your water bottle. I would advise to arrive early if you wish to park close to the grounds as parking is quite limited, otherwise another option is to park at M.O.T.A.T and catch the tram along

Great zoo with great conservation efforts. Wonderful variety of enrichment material in each area for different animals. Animals don't seem stressed. A great day out overall

The staff are very helpful with and responsive to children with disabilities.
My family especially enjoy the monkey talks, I do wish the monkeys were located closer to the entrance as they always want to go there first. which is hard on this unfit Mum ;)

Took my daughter here for a day out. Parking was next to impossible to find, it took us over half hour and we had to walk 15 minutes to get into the Zoo. Prices have definitely gone up but is still reasonable. Zoo itself was great and well set up. Stay away from the Zoo cafe very expensive and very busy.

The Auckland Zoo is a family attraction we have been visiting for years throughout the generations. I get a yearly family pass every year and definitely get my moneys worth out of it. The animals, and learning about the conservation of animals is important to me, and passing that knowledge on to my children, nieces and nephews. The animal feeding shows are great.
