Staglands has lots of animals( pigs, peacocks, chickens...) just walking about! there's also a fun tractor ride that's on on weekends. The cafe is relaxing and has some nice food. The road going on the way to Staglands is very narrow and quite a long ride but it's definitely worth it!!

Must do things in Wellington is Staglands.

Peacock welcomed us on the car park, how exciting! Best place for children to have all day fun.
The cafe is good with decent menu options. Highly recommended .

Although a bit off the beaten track Staglands is absolutely great! Such a wonderful place for families, children, couples or whoever. The animals are friendly have such great personalities. Such a wide variety of animals and is entertaining for everybody to go along and feed the animals or even just watch them. Not only are the animals great and fun but the staff as always very kind and helpful and clearly love their job. Such a fantastic place with picnic areas and a cafe too. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Wellington region!
