What Makes Us Different
This is a very simple method of using pre-cut timber columns and beams to build a one or two storey structure. But not just any timber, we use SLVL, which means “structural laminated veneer lumber” and this specialist product is factory made to our specific requirements by Juken Nissen Ltd. Just like the old ‘pioneer’ barns where large wooden buildings were fabricated with basic tools and engineering techniques and erected with the use of manual labour, (no crane trucks around then) and inspired by the iconic Kiwi half round shape, our frames are built to reflect the strong, simple and attractive qualities only a TIMBER PORTAL-FRAME gives.
