I travel a lot with work and ended up stuck in Oamaru for the night, Very surprised at how good the food was, Portside you out did some of the best restaurants in Otago¢ral Otago and southland

Fantastic shared platters with lots of flavour. Would definitely go there again. Great outlook over the ocean also.

Lovely service and the menu with interesting choice, quite different from the usual stuff around. Two of us had the sea bass which we both found a little dry and maybe overcooked. I would return. Our guests were delighted with their meals. Not cheap.

Nice restaurant with lovely harbour views. We were placed in a little window seat looking directly to the harbour. They had some live music playing on the night which was great, however it was very loud that we couldn't even hear ourselves talking. Food was nice, but was a long wait.

Lovely restaurant with delicious food, fantastic service and even better views! It's not cheap but wonderful for special occasions and anniversaries. A real gem in Oamaru.
