Ike's Emporium

Wowza, wowza. This is the Ike's of all Ike's. There are a few Ike's Emporiums over Auckland and I usually stick to one closer to home, but while looking for Sevens costumes, I decided to venture up to this one. I was glad that I did. This Ike's is much bigger and therefore has more stuff.
Stuff is a good word - it really is full of lots and lots of stuff. Craft supplies, costumes, wigs, fabrics, decorations, toys. You can spend a long time in here.

It is quite unassuming from the outside which makes the surprise factor even bigger. The staff are really lovely and helpful, which can come in very handy when trying to find something specific in amongst all the stuff.
Great for finding that thing you've been looking for, or for inspiration.

I like writing and practicing my penmanship on my free time, so I shop here for all my pens, pencils, drawing/writing paper.

A go to go arts and crafts or for costume making. They have all the bits and bobs you could ever need and excellent prices.

Great range of stock! Their clearance trolleys outside always have some good bargains, and managed to get a bunch of frost cloth for the garden, clothing dye, and mesh for straining homemade almond milk. Really cheap and such a huge range for any type of arts, crafts or DIY! Their mural is very cute also, well worth popping in!
