Diamond Takeaways

For years Diamond Takeaways has always been a top spot to eat but their quality and standard of food has changed for the worse. We rang and complained about their chips that were hard/dense on the outside and hollow on the inside, maybe double cooked or not cooked at the right temperature. We're getting credit tonight for a second try.

Large meal portions, unfortunately they were stingy and did not include enough vegetables, hardly any in the vegetable fried rice.

Not Cool

Diamond Takeaways isn't a very big shop but it's the busiest in Tikipunga. They do European food, but their Chinese dishes are the best. They do half and full portions. Both are generous. I can recommend the Chicken Noodles and their Chop Suey and Chow Mein's are very nice too. Great prices and nice owners.

The best takeaways in whangarei. Always fresh. Love their fish best batter I've ever had. Chicken fried rice is the best. And chicken wings perfect.
