Squids Bar & Restaurant

Popped in 4 lunch with a family of 4. The quality of food was OK. The mussel pot that I had was fantastic...good on you for producing such a nice dish. Otherwise, we thought that the fries were thin cut...almost like Maca's, but much thinner. As a family we personally never liked the fries as they were difficult to eat with a fork!!! Menu was really basic, with no beer served on tap!!! The service was standard and far from appealing...not a very welcoming experience all in all. The business had an advert on the window..."FOR SALE". Perhaps that reflects the level of service amongst other things.

Very nice meals, good quality left feeling satisfied. The staff were nice and welcoming. Good parking.

Came for lunch after a bike ride to Whitianga. Delicious food and great view over the water. Conveniently located and cosy atmosphere
