Marina Court Motel & Apartments

Just a quick stop over in Whangarei while heading north. Absolutely regret my stay here. The rooms are in a desperate need for a Reno and new beds. It was so hot with only a cheap fan in the room we had 1 fan for a 2 bedroom apartment we had to have the windows open, this would have been ok except the motel is located on a loud busy road and the room next to us were smokers, which both these things when you have a baby with you are hard to overlook. When staff were asked if there was a non smoking area or rooms they unfortunately did not have a solution, so we were forced to close ourselves in a hot room.
Even for a short stop over I would not recommend unless you don’t plan on sleeping.
