Judge-House of Ale

Awesome atmosphere. They had “Beau & Friends” playing. Totally fun night. Best I have had in a Whangarei in a long time. Staff were excellent. Would certainly recommend

I used to hear these wacky radio adverts, for the Judge House of Ale, but it wasn't until I went there, that I realised that the bar got its name from the fact that it is housed in the old Whangarei Courthouse. It's a friendly pub, with a sports bar and casual seating. The food is really nice. Good pub grub. Huge portions. They also have a private room and will cater it, should you want to hold a private function there. Highly recommended.

Fine pub, good beer selection and racing and rugby on tv. What more could anyone want. Be back on my next trip.
