Dickens Inn

Good food and good sized meals, service allways sharp and friendly. If you are in the centre of town call in for a meal and cold beer. I normaly stop here before heading to the movies on a Tuesday night.

A right nice lunch stop. A warm welcome on arrival, good choice of lunch dishes from the traditional to more adventurous, excellent food and well presented. Toilets immaculate. Thoroughly recommended. Background music a tad loud but not enough to knock a star off for! So five stars, it is!

Nice big restaurant, service is pretty quick. Specials are always nice. Puddings are a must try.

Love the ambience here. You'll enjoy watching the chefs as they cook to. Man size plates for great value. The customer service was fantastic and although the restaurant was full, we got our meals fast. It would pay to book a table in advance, if you have little kids, request a high chair and table away from the main seating area. Go in earlier to secure a close parking spot. Parking can be difficult to find after 6pm

There is such a relaxed, homely atmosphere in the restaurant which makes for a really pleasurable dining experience. The food was tasty and portions good size. highly recommend Dickens Inn for service and food. A+ With breakfast/brunch small & larger meals served, & if I recall, dinner as well, there is plenty of variety & the price is reasonable.
