Countdown Supermarkets

Their new store, in Regent, is much bigger and brighter than their old one. I find their check-out operators can be stand-offish. The Store and Home Brands are really good quality and well priced too. Good specials, when they are on offer.

Probably the best Countdown in Whangarei. Handy location, lots of parking outside in an area that isn't super busy.

Very well stocked store, they have everything I need, every time :D It's so easy to go shopping with the kids now because there is free fruit to keep them content. The staff are so helpful, I couldn't find a certain product and a staff member very kindly showed me where it was.

Went here today with husband and son to buy some groceries. Amazing deals going on. Bought the hot roasted chicken for only $9.90 which tasted amazing. Also bought some vegetables for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and the self-checkouts made it a lot faster so we didn't have to wait in big lines.

It's a nice store and love how they are extending their carpark but the management isn't easy to approach when you have an issue. Today was the icing on the cake i asked for a pen to quickly jot something down for their instore game they had going got a dirty look then given pen and then didn't get the full reward you're supposed to get upon completion. Luckily there are other countdowns i can go to
