Countdown Supermarkets

Went in expecting it to be crazy so close to Christmas but the staff were keeping it all running smoothly and the isles were wide enough that they weren’t congested which made it allot easier than some of the other suoermarkets. They were all bring great Christmas cheer and even gave us the sausages free because they couldn’t get the barcode for them!! Would definitly day they are the best supermarket in whangarei area

Always go here to buy daily groceries as it is very close to our house and has some great deals going on often. Lots of parking space available. The staff is very friendly and the customer service is great. It is clean most of the times. Highly recommended to those who want to buy groceries for cheaper.

Countdown is usually well stocked & has a great selection of products. Love the free fruit for kids, really helps! Just wish there were more checkout operators available, self service is a pain with a large shop. And if I wanted to pack it myself I'd go to pak n save.

Went here today with husband and son to buy some groceries. Amazing deals going on. Bought the hot roasted chicken for only $9.90 which tasted amazing. Also bought some vegetables for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and the self-checkouts made it a lot faster so we didn't have to wait in big lines.

Probably the best Countdown in Whangarei. Handy location, lots of parking outside in an area that isn't super busy.
