Everyone should have an AA membership. They have bailed me out of trouble on several occasions.

I would't be without my AA membership. Besides all the guarantees you have, as a member, you can still just phone them up and talk to their staff about travel plans, places to go and other information you may be seeking. Free accommodation catalogues are available, which helps finding quality motels and hotels on your journey a breeze. Having one of their mobile mechanics turn up, when the car won't work, is another service that brings security to members. Highly recommended.
