Whanganui Resource Recovery Cen

Whanganui doesn't have a strong recycling background as we don't have curbside recycling. So its nice to have a center where we can drop our bottles off too.

This place makes recycling made easy and fun.

An efficient and very well set out recycling centre. Staff are always at hand to advise on what may or may not be recycled, which stops a lot of the contamination that can occur with roadside recycling. Glass is even sorted into three colours.

I always try to recycle as much of our rubbish as i can. So i make weekly drop offs to the center to dispose of it. It takes a bit of time but is worth it for the environment.
