      Great coffee in a very cosy, comfortable little setting. Simon (the owner) always provides good banter, and I love that they've introduced a rewards system so that you can redeem a free coffee once you've purchased a few.

      Looking for the best coffee in Whakatane. Go to Straight Up. Definitely a great place for serious coffee drinkers. This is a place you're able to take your own lunch and drink great coffee. Cake and muffins also on offer but this is not a cafe with big food options. A must visit for the serious coffee drinkers.

      If you are after a proper hit of caffeine, don't bother with any other of numerous coffee shops in Whakatane! Just head straight for Straight up!
