Stopped here on way back from Opitiki to Ohope Beach for fish and chips. Picnic tables by the lake. Delicious kai. Highly recommend.

Always call in there for fish,oysters etc on the way thru to Tauranga from Gizzy and on the way back always A1 Fresh Food ....But Today Fish ,oysters mussells were not fresh and the batter fell off the fish,was quite dissapointing as we tell everyone thats the best takeaway stop...hmmmm be thinking hard about calling in there again.

Once upon a time, this place used to serve some of the best fish and chips in the district, but their prices have gone up quite a bit, the staff never seem that pleased to be there, and the portion sizes aren't as generous.

Food is not all that great..Waiting time is slow..Eating area is hardley ever clean..Wouldnt be going back there in a hurry..
