Best Zoo i've visited in New Zealand, so many different breeds and species of animals and really well kept grounds and facilities. Fairly priced considering its a full day worth of sights

Great Zoo lots of Animals to look at. Good parking. Reasonably priced for a family day out. Quite hilly in some areas but well worth it to see the different animals.

Really enjoyed our time at Wellington Zoo. There is no car park but plenty of on street parking around. Not overly big but enough to keep you occupied for a few hours

Took the kids here last year and we had a really great day, lots of hills and walking but we were distracted by lots of animals so didn't really notice! We were eating lunch in the picnic area and were fortunate enough to have some zookeepers bring some wild dogs on leads, scary but exciting! Best to go within school hours as it wasnt too busy, parking is limited so plan ahead.

I love talking a walk around the zoo, its very relaxing to watch all the animals and just listen to music - its one of my favourite things to do - and doesn't cost the earth either.
