Zoo is such a great day out with friends and family. There is always something on and something to see. Not only can you watch the animals but it's also very educational and lots can be learnt. Always love a day trip or even afternoon trip to Wellington Zoo.

Absolutely love making a special trip to wellington zoo. The new exhibits are so well done, and excellent for kids. We especially love the African village and giraffe enclosure. The views over the city are sensational from many different spots in the zoo. Though the hills I would imagine are challenging for some.

We always save the farm animals for the end, and the kids enjoy the slide and a bit of playtime before we make our way out.
It is a small zoo, so we only generally look around for a couple of hours. The winter wednesday promotions or grabone vouchers are worth keeping an eye out for.

Fun zoo, small and easy to get around, has all the animals that you would want to see

was quite disappointing. not that many animals and nothing really that different from other zoo's, just dont go if your 9 months pregnant as its all up hill walking, very exhausting. lol
