Huge library with lots of computer terminals and a well stocked collection. There is a cafe and the library is convenient located.

Right in the heart of Wellington city, I always like coming here for their range of DVDs to borrow, as well as books on a variety of interesting subjects. A great place to spend time if you're in town and have a couple of spare hours.

3 floors of books. What more can you ask for? Plus a separate section for kids and weekly song and story sessions by the staff. They have a cafe onsite and you can bring your own food to munch too. They also have free wifi. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful incase you have any queries.

Good variety of seating areas, particularly if you are looking for a more quieter spot. The staff at the information desks are quite knowledgeable and if they didn't know the answer they would try and do general search on their computers or advise you where to find the answer. Parking underneath is usually competitive, particularly when some areas get cordon off.
