Went there tonight with a couple of work colleagues. Thos is a great institution of Wellington, that I didn't know of, but luckily, I do now. The meals are big, and the quality of the meats are superb. Cool atmosphere, and really friendly, efficient service.

The best steaks served in the Wellington, period! Don't need to look any further if you are after an amazing grill in central city.

Thoroughly enjoyable dinner with the family. Let’s get one thing straight it’s not fine dining. Good honest food cooked by good people. A plate of white bread when you sit down. Meals are huge. I had the Weiner schnitzel which was tender and delicious. Wife and daughter had the fish which was well cooked. Service was good.

A decent enough place with large meals. Has a certain old fashioned feel to it as well.
